What this proves
The reviewer chooses an asset, Coinbase-supported EVM network, fiat amount, and a wallet they control. Wrooms verifies wallet ownership, creates the Coinbase session server-side, and passes that wallet as the destination address.

The signature only proves wallet ownership. It does not create a Wrooms account or authorize a transaction.
Reviewer mode skips the separate Wrooms Service Fee so Coinbase can test its own Onramp integration directly. Production Wrooms customers use the normal authenticated dual-onramp flow with the disclosed Service Fee.
Security boundary
Coinbase CDP credentials and JWT signing remain server-only. Reviewer access is narrow and wallet-authenticated; it does not expose Wrooms account, Pay, wallet-linking, or customer data APIs.
Production experience
Wrooms Crypto combines Stripe and Coinbase behind one swap-style router. If a signed-in customer lacks a compatible destination wallet, Wrooms can create a portable self-custody wallet during the purchase flow.

Layer 7 (L7)
Wrooms is requesting direct Coinbase Onramp and future Offramp support for Layer 7. Layer 7 is an EVM-compatible mainnet used by the Wrooms ecosystem. Until Coinbase formally exposes L7 through its supported-network APIs, this tester only offers networks Coinbase currently reports as supported and does not hardcode Layer 7 as available.

Authentication
Production customer actions use the authenticated Wrooms session. This reviewer-only route uses a short-lived wallet-signature challenge before creating the Coinbase session, so Coinbase does not need a Wrooms account.
Non-custodial delivery
Wrooms does not take custody of the Coinbase purchase. Coinbase delivers supported purchased crypto to the destination wallet used in the session.
